CIP –Clean In Place-For Plate Heat Exchangers and other Equipments
1.Steps involved
2.Close main isolating valves and completely drain the unit through the clean-in-place system.
3.Rinse the unit with water until water becomes clear and all traces of the process fluid are gone.
4.Completely drain the rinse water from the system.
5.Refill the system with water and
then add the appropriate cleaning
solution.
6.Circulate the cleaning solution at approximately for 3 to 6 hr.
7.Drain cleaning solution from the unit and rinse with water as described previously.
